Applications of Space (AS)

This one- or two-day course examines the uses and applications of space, focussing on earth sensing and communications related systems. Starting from the end user perspective and need, then examining what the system needs to do, observe or measure. The course then explores sensing technologies, payloads, data processing and operations.
