KISPE Open Enrolment Course
KISPE are hosting an open enrolment course which is open to anyone looking to get into the space industry or build their foundation knowledge and aimed at companies or individuals.
Date: 27th-31st October 2025
Timings: 9am – 5pm
Location: Satellite Applications Catapult, Electron Building, Fermi Ave, Didcot, OX11 0QR
(Harwell Science and Innovation Campus)
Structure:
The first day will be an introduction to space and satellites for people with little or no space domain knowledge.
The next two days will be a course on understanding space, builds from here going into more detail on the space environment, orbits and space systems, aimed at technical people new to the industry.
Finally we end on a two day space systems engineering course for those wishing to gain a foundation knowledge on systems engineering in the space domain.
Further details:
- Travel: Parking available, permits handed out at reception on day. The nearest railway station is Didcot Parkway, served by trains from London Paddington. The journey to the Satellite Applications Catapult is approximately 10-15 minute drive by taxi or bus from Didcot Parkway train station and approximately a 25-minute journey from Oxford train station.
- Timings: 9am – 5:00pm each day. Tea and Coffee will be provided during breaks. There is an on-site cafe available for participants to buy lunch from or feel free to bring your own.
